dear adam i have a wordpress blog and i ve done step by step what you said, i copied the embed code as an html to a page on my blog but nothing happens.
is it cos the wordpress dont allow mp3 or other audio unless you upgrade?

I can’t thank you enough for your post -this has been so helpful and that website is great I had been struggling to find a site that allows uploads of larger audio files and gives you so much storage and this is it-and it’s free, great!

is there a way to make the embedded audio set to auto play, so when you go to the page it automatically plays.

Update – for wordpress, please check description. There’s a plugin you can use for audio player divshare.

brilliant -this website looks like my best hope of being able to upload a large 1 hour MP3 FILE …although it has just crashed I’ll keep trying..

Keep trying.
Maybe save the file again as a different file. Or it might be the website as a lot of people use it.
Keep trying and hopefully it be sorted. They also on twitter, so you can ask Divshare questions if the crashing repeats often.
